Surveys always help in understanding the mindset and requirement of the mass. The first and foremost factor that comes to mind, when we discuss the survey is the type of questions it carries. The pattern, standard and pertinent questionnaire fixes the popularity of a survey. Easy yet significant questions increase the interest scale of respondents to answer them.

A proper and relevant set of questions help out a company to take a constructive, progressive, and cost-effective decision. It also helps the enumerators’ job hassle-free as the responses received from an apt questionnaire, are on point, clear, specific, and totally subject related.

To form an ideal and befitting questionnaire these points should be kept in mind:

1. Doubling up questions, where two answers are different should be avoided. It creates confusion in the respondents while answering.

2. Emphasis on close-ended questions should be given than open-ended questions as then respondents do not have to write/type much and the response rate is observed to be higher in close-ended questions.

3. Easy-to-understand yet relevant questions with various options like Multiple choice, Matrix, Dropdown, demographic questions, etc. make the survey more acceptable and convenient for the respondents to answer.
