Structured into two phases, the project began with a focus on West Bengal and the Northeast before expanding nationwide. Trackbee’s mobile data collection tool was employed by trained community members to gather data on stock availability and pricing for an array of SKUs. This strategy included identifying retail locations, developing a robust data collection approach, and ensuring data accuracy through cross-verification and telephonic backchecks. Approximately 6000 interviews yielded a substantial database, highlighting market trends and pricing variations.
